Formal Fall Recruitment is a five day period in which potential new members get the chance to meet and learn about all the sororities on campus. Each night has a different theme – Open House (2 days), Philanthropy, Sisterhood and Preference – allowing the potential new members to see the sorority chapters in a variety of settings. At the end of recruitment, there is a Bid Day where the new members given their invitation to join the sorority chapter.
Continuous Recruitment (CR) begins after the conclusion of Formal Recruitment Week and continues throughout the academic year. Continuous Recruitment is recommended for anyone who chooses not to participate in Formal Recruitment Week or did not receive a bid during the week. CR offers women the opportunity to participate in sorority life and join a sorority through an informal process.
